is my way to give many different materials a new purpose in a creative form. Most of the rugs you will view here are sold but please share your wishes with me, by using the contact form on this website, so I can let you know how we can make those wishes come true.

P.S. If you have a sewing machine and would like to get started on a great but simple project to recycle fabric into something usefull for the house, try my suggestion for a colourful draught-stopper. Pattern details and some good recycling idea's below.
Draught-Stopper
You will need:
Felted jumpers, denim, old blankets, old wollen dressing gowns, old curtains (rubber backed), polar fleece.
1 bag pillow stuffing
1 packet kitty litter
You will find a lot of these at your local op-shops. To felt jumpers, wash on hot cycle in washing machine, dry on hot cycle in clothes dryer.
Cut 24 pieces from various fabrics 3cm x 6cm. Sew 6 pieces together by sewing across the short side to form 1 long row. Make 3 more rows, then sew the 4 rows together to form 1 rectangle. Fold the right side to inside, then sew down 1 long side and across the bottom. Sew across the bottom one more time to make a stronger bottom. Turn right side out and fill one quarter with kitty litter, then half with pillow stuffing (packed tight) then top the remaining quarter with kitty litter. Sew across the top a couple of times to enclose all. Enjoy your recycled draught stopper!
