Kiteboarding in Brazil. Between July and February it is very windy in the Northeastern parts of Brazil, so it is a perfect time to get some fun on the water. Since my arrival in Cumbuco (Fortaleza), beginning of October it has been windy every day. I am on my 9m kite usually and from flatwater in the lagoons to small waves in Paracuru all kinds of conditions are present. The water is so warm that you can kite in boardshorts only. Vast stretches of sandy beaches are disctinctive for Brazil`s northeast. Brazilians are known as one of the world's most joyful people with lively celebrations (Carnaval), which gets more animated the further north you go. This lifestyle can be watched and enjoyed on the beaches, football matches, on the streets and in the samba clubs.

Moorea, Huahine, Bora Bora

Moorea is twice as old as Tahiti and was once home to a 3300m high volcano. It is 17km from Tahiti to Moorea or 8 min by plane.

The people are happy and relaxed and they have maintained their traditional lifestyle of fishing and farming. When I am riding around the island on a mountainbike I stop often, talking to locals and many are smiling.

Many people refer to Bora Bora as the most beautiful island of the world. And I think they are right. The postcard views of Bora Bora are the stuff of Pacific dreams. A deep blue lagoon with a central island of mountains right in the middle.

I was more than six weeks in Thailand and stayed in Bangkok several times, were in Pai & Chiang Mai, headed to Ko Chang, Phang-Nga (James Bond Island), Phuket and Ko Phi-Phi (after the Tsunami) afterwards. A great experience to visit this country and its friendly people. I could even enjoy some kiteboarding in Hua-Hin for two weeks. My next stop will be India.

India, a place to expect the unexpected. With a population of more than one billion people it embraces diversity as passionately as few other countries of earth would be able to. Traveling India can be very frustrating and rewarding at the same time. I am traveling for almost 20 years now and haven't seen anything like it, yet I fell instantly in love with the beauty of the Himalayas and the Indians friendliness.

Living in one of the most windiest Cities (Perth) of the world. The Fremantle Doctor is blowing almost every day in summer and I am having the time of my life. Cappuchino Street is the Freo main street to stroll along and be seen. Very european place and thats why I just love it. Perth, and nearby Fremantle, are among the most pleasant cities to visit in Australia. Blessed with great weather and fabulous beaches, these cosmopolitan cities boast top-class restaurants and attractions. Nearby are other major destinations, including Rottnest Island and superb wineries. Check out the amazing pictures.

Roadtrip along the Australian Westcoast from Perth via Carnarvon to Gnaraloo and Exmouth at the Ningaloo Reef. Amazing wildlife. 30 knots, great people. Ningaloo is the largest fringing coral reef in Australia, and is the only large reef in the world found so close to a continental land mass; about 100 metres offshore at its nearest point and less than seven kilometres at its furthest. From mid-March to mid-May each year visitors from all around the world converge on Ningaloo for the experience of a lifetime - diving with the awesome whale shark, the world’s biggest fish. These creatures reach more than 12 metres long and weigh more than 11 tonnes.
